Frederique has an airy sound that seems like an evolutionary step forward from Carole King and The Carpenters. Technically proficient instrumentation work masterfully in providing just enough highlighting to the vocals. Fans of yacht rock or Sade-style R&B will find something they can sink their teeth into. The Forevers have the uncanny ability to transform older musical styles into something that speaks volumes to modern music fans.

Rockets Fly calls back to early 1990s with the strong narrative quality of The Cardigans and Chris Isaak. The slinky instrumentation and stylistic changes that demarcate the different sections of the single keep the composition fresh and interesting until The Forevers close up shop.
