SunniLong and Stacccs are on the move in their new music video for the single “Keep Going” this March, and even without the cinematic appeal of the chase sequence in the visualizer, this is a song that was meant to get our hearts pumping from the jump. Between the tempo of the percussion and the smoothly delivered adrenaline SunniLong is popping off with his vocal, we were always bound to be running alongside these players in the aptly titled “Keep Going,” and it’s because of this ferocious push that a lot of fans are really taking to the track’s sound this spring.

The instrumental fabric of this single is so minute that you could make the argument SunniLong and Stacccs have far more physicality in their performance here than anything beside them does. The beat is significant, but you can tell it’s being nudged forth more by the verses than by the percussion itself. This is full-board intensity on the part of the rappers, and being that the backdrop is so simplistic, there’s no debating whether or not they can carry a track without the assistance of elaborate elements others would never enter the studio without.
While I do think that SunniLong needs to – and absolutely can – push himself a little harder than he has thus far in his creative process, the muscularity of this latest performance says a lot about how much he’s developing, not to mention how quickly. Stacccs is a good player to bounce these verses off of, but even had he been on his own in “Keep Going,” the charisma here is off the charts incredible, starting with his execution at the microphone. SunniLong is on the come up in the Canadian underground, and those who would say otherwise need to hear “Keep Going” the next time they grab a pair of headphones.
