I Believe God is the latest effort from Jekalyn Carr. From the onset, the song has a full and engrossing sound that will resound loudly with listeners. Carr pulls double-duty in this track, both providing fans with a strong narrative while further bolstering (along with her backing choir) the overall harmony achieved by the track. The dynamic that is established between the vocals and the band is amazing; there’s fury, there’s passion, and the result is a fullness to I Believe God that will stick with one long after they finish listening to the single. Jekalyn is able to release another single that pushes gospel music to a higher plateau than it had been previously.
