The deliberate approach taken during City of Thieves’ first minute sets the stage nicely for what is to follow. Hints of surf rock are whipped into the mix, with just enough funky guitar line and shuffling drums to really induce fans to focus on in. The bit of psychedelic rock that demarcates City Of Thieves’ bridge is precisely what is needed to push the effort through the finish line. A truly amazing work from Forgottensong.
