Jern Eye, coming strong off the release of his new album Vision, has teamed up with producer BOAC for a remix of the album’s first single official single, “Get Down” featuring fellow West Coast emcee Z-Man!. The track doesn’t stray from the up-tempo style that the original brought forth, but does have its own flavor. BOAC stuck to playing everything himself, avoiding samples on his version, which gives the remix…

Year In The Kingdom unravels some kind of galactic wilderness. Tillman’s 6th album lyrically borders on mystic; proffering a transcendent union, an effortlessness. Strange and honest, this song cycle inhabits it’s own idea-scape; one seemingly obsessed with wrestling death. These are afterlife dialogues of a mysterious future. Celestial badlands. Unknown to just about everyone, Tillman started recording in April, tracking most of the instruments during the two week session himself.…

And no, that’s not Mike Sniper (aka Blank Dogs) behind the mic.” – NYLON Band Crush: CMJ Edition “Little Girls’ catchy brand of lo-fi…
