Just wanted to pass around the DOOMbird remix of Birds & Batteries’ track “I Want You.” The original version is on the SF/Oakland band’s new LP, Stray Light, out now via Eightmaps and the remix premiered today via Impose Magazine.

Birds & Batteries deliver rare visions and bold inventions – songs that are both intimate and epic, steeped in love and groove.  Stray Light is the culmination of almost a decade of songwriting and album-making by composer Mike Sempert.  Much of the album is about the push and pull between freedom and love/inspiration, with some wildly optimistic, magical futurism mixed in.
