LA-based indie rock band Wires in the Walls is proud to announce the release of the music video for Tremolo, the first song off their debut full-length album New Symmetry. Directed by De la Vega (www.delavega.me) and produced by Cathartic Films, the video uses innovative camera placement to capture breathtaking visuals of a hoop dancer’s journey through some of the most beautiful spots in Southern California. Tremolo can be streamed on the band’s YouTube page at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOOe5yDyh4A
Wires in the Walls will be performing live at Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 20th at 9:00pm.
About Wires in the Walls: LA-based quintet Wires in the Walls explores a textured space between Americana, anthemic indie rock, austere post-punk, and pop. Since the band’s formation in 2009, they have played many of LA’s top venues, toured the east and west coasts, received local and national college radio play, and had their music featured in TV shows, films, and commercials. Wires in the Walls takes a hands-on DIY attitude to their promotion, including the screen printing of all of their own merchandise.
Wires in the Walls spent 2011 writing and recording their debut full-length album New Symmetry, which was released October 25. New Symmetry expands on the traditional Americana trappings of their previous recordings, and is the first to feature the two newest members of Wires in the Walls. The first single from the record, The Ringer, debuted April 2011 alongside the B-side Soft Shirt. The band is currently hard at work writing new material with plans to release a new EP in late 2012.
Wires in the Walls is: Warren Sroka (vocals/guitar – NYC), Bryan King (drums/horns – Virginia), Dave Irelan (guitar/vocals – Oregon), & Dave Sicher (everything – Illinois).
