The intricate sax solo that punctuates the second half of Babydoll showcases tremendous skill as well as smarts – this is a momentary shift that provides that oomph to keep Babydoll strong until the end. The production of the single adds to the cohesion; there is a close and cozy sound fostered here. Kenney cuts through five and a half minutes easily, making the song breeze by. With an emphatic end, Babydoll will keep fans tapping their toes through the song’s concluding notes.
