It is so amazing that the language of 1000 Ad still exists in some form but sadly most of the runic symbols have been erased from existence. Vikings believed that runic alphabets are magical symbols and are gifted to them by Odin. •    Kaunaz: It symbolizes openings, shedding light and fire.

•    Gebo: It symbolizes blessings, gifts, and partnership.

•    Wunjo: It symbolizes happiness, illumination, and joy.

•    Hagalaz: It symbolizes chaos and disruption.

•    Naudiz: It symbolizes pain, limitation, and confinement.

•    Isaz: It symbolizes inaction.

•    Jera: It symbolizes harvest, fertility and reaps what you sow.

•    Eihwaz: It symbolizes protection, defense, and barriers.

•    Perth: It symbolizes hidden things, secrets, and initiations.

•    Algiz: It symbolizes protection and defense.

•    Sowelu: It symbolizes perfection.

•    Teiwaz: It symbolizes conquest and victory.

•    Berkana: It symbolizes new beginnings, rebirth, and renewal.

•    Ehwaz: It symbolizes overcoming barriers and progression.

•    Mannaz: It symbolizes humanity.

•    Leguz: It symbolizes motherhood, water, and sea.

•    Inguz: It symbolizes beginnings.

•    Dagaz: It symbolizes enlightenment and sunlight.

•    Othela: It symbolizes home and hearth.

Anglo-Saxon Futhorc:

The extended runic table consists of 29 alphabets but later more runes were added and the number had become 33. These runes were used from 5th to 11th century. Some people believe these runes were developed in Frisia and later spread to England. While others believe they were originated in England. The Anglo-Saxon Futaharak runes are feur, Ur, Thorn, Os, Rad, Cen, Gyfu, Wynn, Haegl, Nyd, Is, Ger, Eoh, Peordh, Eolh, Sigel, Tir, Beorc, Eh, Mann, Lagu, Ing, Ethel, Daeg, Ac, Aesc, Yr, Ior, Ear, Cweorth, Calc, Gar and Stan.

Younger Futhark:

It is also known as Scandinavian Futhark. The younger futhark consists of 16 letters and is reduced from elder futhark. They are used in the 9th to the 11th century and divided into Danish, Norwegian and Swedish runes. The 16 younger futhark runes are:

•    Fe: It symbolizes wealth.

•    Urs: It symbolizes shower.

•    Thurs: It symbolizes the giant.

•    As: It symbolizes God.

•    Reio: It symbolizes riding.

•    Kaun: It symbolizes ulcers.

•    Hagall: It symbolizes hail.

•    Nauor: It symbolizes constraint.

•    Iss: It symbolizes ice.

•    Ar: It symbolizes plenty.

•    Soi: It symbolizes the sun.

•    Tyr: It symbolizes the wolf.

•    Bjarkin: It symbolizes birch.

•    Maor: It symbolizes man.

•    Logr: It symbolizes the sea.

•    Yr: It symbolizes yew.
