Not having a lot of time or energy doesn’t mean you can’t make amazing snacks. Whether you are a lunch-time snacker or late-night dabbler, there are endless ways to enjoy a quick bite. If you are curious to find a new favorite, here’s a few quick options that you just might love.

Chocolate Cake In A Mug

All you need to do here is grab the typical wet ingredients of milks, eggs, etc and also separately mix together all the usual suspects for the dry side. You’ll add all those together and mix into a smooth batter. Grab your favorite microwave safe mug and fill it no more than half way because this thing is going to grow.

It’ll need to cook for 1-2 minutes depending on how much of the batter fits in your favorite mug and make sure you let it cool for around as long as it needs to cook for.

Make sure to dress it whichever way seems most exciting to you. Bananas, peanut butter, or even a caramel drizzle are all great ways to make this treat uniquely yours.

Cheese And Crackers

It’s been a staple for many of us throughout our entire lives and this classic can make for the perfect starting point regardless of whatever flavors we might be craving.

From endless options when it comes to cheese and the many meats that pair so well, you’ll spend more time enjoying this snack than you will making it. If you’re looking to get to snacking even sooner, consider portioning out your choice of meats and cheeses ahead of time.

If you want to add a little sweet and spicy to this classic snack, try it with some pepper jelly for a new twist on this old favorite. There’s many different varieties when it comes to this perfect topping, from jalapeno to cranberry, so everyone is sure to find a flavor they love.

French Toast

You might not have guessed it, but as long as you are OK with keeping it simple, French toast can be quite a quick option. For a small serving, all you’ll need is a single egg, 2 teaspoons of milk and 2 slices of bread. Of course, many of us are also going to want to add vanilla or cinnamon to the mixture and both are great ideas but might add a little more prep time.

The classic add ons of butter, syrup, or powdered sugar are always great ideas and shouldn’t add much in terms of prep time but any or all of those will take the flavor to the next level.

Bruschetta

It might not be a snack you are used to, but you’re sure to love it once you try it. Bruschetta won’t require much prep time given all you’ll need is sourdough, some fresh tomatoes and olive oil to indulge in this Italian favorite.

If you are looking to spice it up even more, garlic, onions, and shallots are common editions you are sure to love.
