Old Hippies is a welcome inclusion to the GaREE ALL discography. I feel that the track differs from the performances we’ve heard previously in that there’s a wonderful comparison about the titular subject’s earlier history and their current irreplacable position in the American experience. By putting in so much of his own self into this track, GaREE ALL ensures that fans will have something that they can dig into and appreciate. I think this single is a must-listen for anyone else that fancied themselves to be (or are) a hippie or for individuals born later that want to have some frame of reference about the movement.
