Zigmat – S/T / 2007 Self / 10 Tracks / http://www.zigmat.com / Zigmat plays a brand of electronic-infused indie rock that will get individuals up and on the dance floor as soon as the first bars of “Light of the Moon†start up. The band blends together the rigid structure of the synthesizer perfectly with the much more airy, indefinite sounds of the vocals. What results is a track that…

6 songs on cyclone in 1997.Really good Rancid knockoff band with the same audible bass, vocal delivery and lyric style. This is less pop punk then rancid is , and as a result they sound better. Much better and more full of energy then rancid. They are old school mixed with oi with working class politics. 4 piece band that sounds polished and nsync. Great guitar riffs mix with scorching…

The Bangles – Return to Banglelonia / 2007 Shout Factory / 95 Minutes / The Bangles were very influential, with The Runaways, in creating a lot of the female punk music that took over during the nineties and today. 15 songs on Nuclear Blast America in 1993. Being from Nuclear Blast, you would expect death metal. Dischange is metal, but with a killer hardcore/punk thing going on. They have the slow guitars of metal, the speedy drums of punk, and half-mushy vocals and short songs. Another great moshing band and they are also a 4 piece band. Some of the songs are very political in nature, but it is…
