A weekend at home is a good chance to get everyone’s creative juices going by doing some art. With just a few simple supplies you can keep everyone entertained for hours with an art project and you’ll have some fun artwork when you’re finished.

Any project with epoxy resin is a particular favorite, so see how creative your family can get.

Boardgames

We’re so used to everything being digital these days, and the classic boardgames we used to love tend to get forgotten. However, these games can still be a huge hit with the family.

Boardgames such as Monopoly and Scrabble will be forever popular because they offer easy family fun. When the weather’s horrible, and everyone’s sitting around looking for something to do, bring the boardgames out of the cupboard and everyone is bound to enjoy themselves.

Gardening

Gardening is a great family activity that can keep the whole family entertained. For kids, watching their hard work come to fruition through lots of beautiful plants is an amazing experience, and you don’t need a garden to do this.

There are lots of plants you can find that can grow inside which can spruce up the house whilst giving your family a long-term project to work on.

Movie Night

We’re very lucky that we live in an age where we can get instant access to virtually any movie we want without ever leaving our homes. So, break out the popcorn and bring the family together for a movie night.

The biggest problem might be that you’ve got so much choice it’s difficult to actually settle on one movie, but once you do, you’ve got hours of entertainment that everybody can enjoy. You might not be able to make it out to the movie theatre, but you can bring the movies to you.
