andrew reed & the liberation’s “Pulsar (I Came, I Saw, I Conquered)” starts with an insistent piano line that gradually cedes ground to taut instrumentation. The driving combination of the guitars and bass ferry the song to an arena rock style (think Styx meets Pink Floyd). Of particular note this time out has to be the intricacies established by that act. Facts need to strap on their favorite pair of headphones to fully grok everything that andrew reed & the liberation has included here. As Pulsar (I Came, I Saw, I Conquered) continues, notes of Queensryche and Muse bubble forth. This is some seriously heady stuff.

We have covered andrew reed & the liberation a few times over the years; check out our articles about Don’t Say Goodbye and Twisted World. We were also fortunate enough to sit down with them for an interview.
