Australia’s The Kin Tour, Release “Rise and Fall”

I’d like to introduce you to The Kin. It’s quite possible that you have already heard of this Australian brother duo. They’ve been in NYC since 2001 and have put out three albums during that time. On October 9th, they have their 4th album called “Rise and Fall” coming out on their own label, Aletheia Records. The album was co-produced by Nic Hard – who has worked with The Bravery and Jesse Malin.

The album is really beautiful, and is about hope from struggle – really great stuff. Here is a track from the upcoming album:

In case you need a little insight, here is what BMI had to say:

The Kin blends the atmospheric musical wave of old school U2 and groove pop sensibilities of Duran Duran with the vocal soul of Jeff Buckley. The Kin juxtapose dark melodies with catchy hooks and solid musicianship, garnering comparisons to everything from the Cure to Coldplay. – BMI
