J Gerard Involves Eirself, Eir Clothing Line For World Peace

From her departure of cold-war communist Russia to her landing in the United States at the age of 10, Julia Gerard has moved monuments with her efforts to open minds in regard to demonstrating the importance of World Peace and has done so by impacting the Los Angeles fashion scene from her J Gerard Design Studios & Peace Gallery on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, CA.

Gerard began her career with a 5 year partnership with Yoshisada Minase who was Issey Miyake’s top designer for 10 years. Since then Gerard has outfitted many with respect to red carpet events, movies, television, concert tours, and music videos. She has become known as the Queen of Fashion in Rock n Roll with a strong awareness being built around various outlets for Peace Campaigns. She has dressed artists from Prince, Bob Dylan, Tina Turner, Angelina Jolie, and Heidi Klum.

When Gerard first arrived in America from Communist Russia, she proclaimed, “I didn’t know what peace was until I came here, you can smell it, every one of your senses lights up with it.”

Developments for Gerard’s fashion line have been brought to the attention of the One Campaign and world fashion-music events including, BAFTA, Miami Winter Music Conference, the Cannes Film Festival, and Milan Fashion Week. Her line features t-shirts, jeans, couture gowns, jewelry, furniture, art, home accessories, and more. Each uniquely embellished with original peace symbols so that each person on earth can have something with a peace sign.

Gerard has currently been aligning herself with emerging artist Linda Strawberry and director Justin Coloma, both of whom have worked with Smashing Pumpkin’s Billy Corgan and are all working together to design a concept for the new video that will be rolling out with Strawberry’s highly anticipated new album, The Lost Record. Julia Gerard is always interested in helping new bands and established artists learn more about promoting world peace.

The J Gerard Peace Gallery has also signed on to help promote the Blanket-A-Human Charity fundraiser at the House of Blues in Hollywood, CA, on Monday, November 12th. All of the proceeds of the show will benefit the victims who were affected by the recent California Wildfires.
