Trustkill Band City Sleep Tours, Releases “Not An Angel”

Fresh off a tour with Saliva and Drowning Pool Atlanta rock foursome City Sleeps are showing no signs of slowing down with a new video directed by Darren Doane (Buckcherry, AFI/Atreyu/Deftones) and single for ‘Not An Angel’ (from the CD of the same name) that will impact the airwaves and video channels in late April.  Look for the band to continue to criss-cross the country in support of their Trustkill Records debut Not An Angel out now.

the ability to wake the neighbors”  –Revolver

City Sleeps which includes Ely Dye (vox), Adriel Garcia (guitar), London (drums), Milo (bass) started playing together just a little over two years ago. Touring nationally and building a buzz from the underground up, the band had turned the ears of some heavy industry types, a prime example of this is when City Sleeps was contacted by John Feldmann, the multi-platinum producer who had discovered such bands as The Used and Story of the Year asking to work with them so even before securing a label deal this pro-active band flew to L.A. to work on what was to become their definitive sonic statement.   Speaking on the result, Feldmann readily admits that ‘Not An Angel’ is his finest work to date.

“Not An Angel”, the debut full-length from City Sleeps, a four member outfit from Atlanta, Georgia, is like a piece of precious silver that’s been in the family for generations. It’s pretty, polished, and gleams until it blinds you, therefore rendering it unforgettable –Outburn

Every once in a while, a band comes along that refuels your passion for a musical genre. City Sleeps are a prime example, taking melodic rock to new heights combining harmonized, metallic riffs with strong melodic choruses to create songs that are as energetic and infectious as their intense live performance that can back it all up.

“Not An Angel is an addictive mix of soaring choruses, pile-driving riffs and intelligently constructed melodies.” – KERRANG
