It’s been a little bit since we here at NeuFutur have had the chance to go and have a ready-made drink, but we had a bottle of Smirnoff Cocktails: Pomegranate Martini sent over to the HQ in the last little bit. This bottle, all 30 proof (15%) contains a blend of Smirnoff vodka, Meyer Lemon Liqueur, and lemon and pomegranate juices. Where most drinkers would tend to move towards straight spirits or lighter mixed drinks, I do not feel as if the Pomegranate Martini will unnecessarily weigh people down.

The lighter alcohol content of this cocktail over bar-made drinks allows for a more mellow type of drunk normally be present. This will result in a long day out in the sun rather than a group of friends burning themselves out over the course of only two or three drinks. Where Smirnoff points this drink towards being drank in its traditional format, I can see a few changes being made up to keep drinkers interested through the entirety of the bottle. First, for those drinkers that are more familiar with straight spirits, pouring in a little bit more Smirnoff vodka will give the drink a little more kick, while those that want to try something special should make it out to their local Sonic and get a Cherry Limeade.

After that, throw a few shots of the Pomegranate Martini into the drink and what will result is one of the sweetest drinks that drinkers may have ever had. I never was a fan of the Martini before, but I really like the fruit twist that Smirnoff has injected into the drink. Where there will undoubtedly be individuals that want to stay true to the original drink, I have a feeling that they may become converts after they get a drink or two experience with this Smirnoff Cocktail.
