When it comes to getting protein in our systems for a hard workout (either after or before), we typically use a traditional protein powder in a water (or soy milk) suspension. We received some samples of New Whey Liquid Protein from IDS Sports, and have taken quite a liking to them. This is due to a number of features. First off, 3.8 ounces of the liquid protein contains 42 grams of protein, 84% of the RDA. Secondly, it is contained in a vial, which will allow individuals that wish to use the product the chance just to throw one in a gym bag.

The New Whey liquid protein does not contain a number of items that would be considered to be harmful – this means that there is no lactose, caffeine, sugar, fat, or gluten present in these shots. However, I find the sheer amount of different flavors that New Whey comes in to be the product’s strongest selling point.

This means that there are Acai Berry, Blue Raspberry, Fruit Punch, Grape, Green Apple, Orange, and Watermelon flavors of New Whey, and their availability (present in any major fitness shop as well as on the company’s website) ensures that you will be able to build your muscles and keep yourself in mint condition for however long you use the product. A protip; keep these in the fridge until right before you are going to drink them. While they are perfectly fine at room temperature, I found them even more appealing after having them chilled as per a normal beverage.
