EOS Hefeweizen pours with a gold coloration and a thick head that settles slowly. The EOS Hefeweizen is the perfect spring beer, with a refreshing taste that expands upon a lager style with inviting hints of cloves, bananas, and hints of vanilla. Spiced notes occur at the periphery, giving the beer the complexity and legs that it needs to stay fun from beginning to end. The sweetness works well moderating the slight hop / malt bite and provides a palette refresher for each subsequent sip.

As the beer warms, a slightly different constellation of flavors occurs with later sips. This means that a lemon and orange-heavier flavor comes forth initially, while a maltier aftertaste provides a nice close to the experience.  The EOS Hefeweizen’s low ABV (4.8%) and perfect mélange of flavors makes it a solid addition to fish, chicken, or beef meals and those hours outdoors afterwards. Make it a point to visit the Nebraska Brewing Company if you are in the Papillion / Omaha (NE) region, and visit their website for more information about their beer offerings, restaurant menu, and a calendar of their events.
