David D’Angelo’s “Jade” is one of those efforts that one will need to sit back and properly focus on. The multiple layers and distinct atmosphere that D’Angelo creates here is incredibly dense and complex. There are elements that further the track along (the bassy beat and stellar percussion), but the song continues to innovate with each distinct movement.
