Lucie Silvas Releases EP Today

Lucie Silvas’ new self-titled EP is out today on Furthestpoint Records via Caroline. The official lyric video for the first single, “Letters to Ghosts,” can be viewed here. In celebration of the release, Silvas will perform a special show with James Bay at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on March 16. Additional tour dates to be announced shortly.

Can’s Irmin Schmidt Awarded French Knighthood

The Sword To Begin Recording Aprocryphon Follow Up

The Sword will commence recording their fifth album, second for Razor & Tie, March 16th in Austin, Texas. The album will be produced by Adrian Quesada and is scheduled for a late summer release with worldwide touring to follow. Apocryphon debuted at #17 on the Billboard Album Chart with its release in October 2012. In preparation for recording, the band is announcing a short run of four shows.

Will Butler extends spring tour

Policy, the debut album from Will Butler, will be in stores on March 10 in the US and March 16 in the rest of the world. The video for “Anna” was directed by Will himself and highlights his efforts to bring a “100% serious, but 100% joking” attitude back to modern rock.

Desaparecidos Signs to Epitaph

Desaparecidos have signed to Epitaph for an album to be released in 2015. Desaparecidos is a rock band featuring Conor Oberst (vocals, guitar), Landon Hedges (bass, guitar), Matt Baum (drums), Denver Dalley (guitar) and Ian McElroy (keyboard). They formed in 2001 and release one album, Read Music/Speak Spanish in 2002.

Mae Continue Tour Dates in Support of The Everglow Decade Mark
