The events that take place during “Lip Synchin’ In The Rain” took place over the course of four episodes of the 3rd season of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and aired last year. For readers that are at a level of familiarity with The Suite Life of Zack and Cody that has them knowing what happened during each episode, the episodes captured are “Lip Synchin’ In The Rain”, “Arwin That Came To Dinner”, “Orchestra”, and “A Tale of Two Houses”. The titular episode has Zack and Cody’s school put on a stage performance of “High School Musical”, to which Cody auditions while Zack rots away in detention. The major issue present during this episode has to be the tension between Maddie and London over who will play the role of Sharpay.

“Arwin That Came To Dinner” has Arwin shack up with Zack and Cody after eir mom and mom’s boyfriend break up, while “Orchestra” has Zack join the named group while Cody goes after a Russian exchange student (played by Sophie Oda). Finally, “A Tale of Two Houses” has the twins go forth and make out with girlfriends to the dismay of their parents, ending a solid hour and a half of “The Suite Life”. After viewers watch the four episodes, there are a few features that extend the effective runtime of this DVD. The first feature is a gag/bloopers featurette that showcases the fallibility of the twins and of the rest of the cast; there are countless humorous and slightly embarrassing moments that were taken from the episodes of the second season.

Where most individuals will immediately focus after watching these episodes would have to be the thirteen-minute “Twin-Tastic” featurette, which Dylan and Cole really go into detail how it is to be an actor and a twin. The questions themselves are those that viewers have heard and seen before (and broach topics like driving), but will provide the younger set some serious gossip to dish out at the playground. Until that time when Disney comes out with a season by season set of DVDs, purchasing collections like “Lip Synchin’ In The Rain” and earlier releases, such as “Sweet Suite Victory” and “Taking Over The Tipton” will be the only way to get something that resembles a complete Suite Life collection. Make sure to pick up this DVD if your children, cousins, or friends are a fan of the show.
