The Rosebuds sing about a “Nice Fox”; tour in support of Life Like

The Rosebuds recorded Life Like in their home studio with the windows open and their friends dropping in and out to lend a hand. Writing songs about the things that mean most to them in their everyday lives, Ivan and Kelly discovered a fox in their yard. They shared the fox with their next door neighbor, an elderly man who listened to them play as he lay ill on his bed. As they put the finishing touches on their song about the fox, “Nice Fox,” their neighbor passed away. Suddenly, a song about an animal in their yard now became more poignant as they imagined singing an old man to sleep as he died.

The Rosebuds will begin their US tour in support of Life Like on November 15.
