Jive Records artist Living Things announces a string of upcoming tour dates with Electric Six for the spring, as well as an appearance at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX.

Their latest album, Habeas Corpus, was released February 17, 2009 to critical praise, and once again the Living Things are earning accolades in the press: Blender states, “Living Things are proud radicals who direct their musical outrage at the direst current events / war, oppression, plunder; Alternative Press says the current album is, “…the danceable beats and grungy atmosphere make Corpus the ideal soundtrack for debauchery in the face of economic depression.” and the Rolling Stone claims “[Lillian] Berlin is still one of hard rock’s more compelling politicos.”

Living Things recently returned to their current home base of Los Angeles for the television debut of their latest single “Oxygen.” Their video for the first single “Let It Rain,” has been added to VH1, MTVU and MTV2. “Let It Rain” filmed by director Floria Sigismondi (David Bowie, Bjork, White Stripes).

Originally from St. Louis, MO, Living Things are Lillian Berlin, his brothers Eve and Bosh on bass and drums respectively, plus hometown friend guitarist Cory Becker.

Habeas Corpus is the second album released from the band. Produced by Michael Ilbert and Living Things, it was recorded in Berlin, Germany at Hansa Studios where the band was in residence for ten months, overlooking remnants of the Berlin wall. The themes of the songs include the economy, war, politics, life, love and religion in these turbulent times.
