Fervent Record’s Big Daddy Weave secures the top spot on both the NCA and Christian AC Monitored charts with “Redeemed” this week. Only five other songs have captured the No. 1 spot on the NCA chart this year. “Redeemed,” their second release from Love Come to Life, hit the No. 1 spot on the Christian AC Indicator chart last month making it the band’s sixth career No. 1. The song is also a hit on YouTube as fans have driven the video up to over one million views.

“When my friend Benji Cowart and I got together via Skype to write the song ‘Redeemed,’ I had no idea even when we finished the song that God would do what He’s done with this!” commented Big Daddy Weave’s Mike Weaver. “In my mind it was just some closure to a really rough season in my walk with Jesus. Only God can take what we’re most ashamed of and turn it into victory! I’m so thankful for the way He’s used this song in the lives of so many and I continue to thank Him daily that the words of this song are true in my life.”

Big Daddy Weave is one of the top ten most played artists on Christian radio over the past decade. “Redeemed,” written by Mike Weaver and Benji Cowart, is their third best-selling song since the band’s formation in 2002.
