BK’s No Pain starts out with tremendous energy. The call and response gradually gives way to a ferociously-spat flow and a production that has hints of Kanye West. BK’s styles tie together bits of Tech N9ne, Tyler The Creator, and Wale with a strong dollop of his own unique approach to things. No Pain will bounce its way around listeners’ minds long after the single has concluded. The stylistic shift that occurs around the 3-minute mark is precisely what is needed to keep fans focused in until the last syllable drops. No Pain is a hell of a single.
