Juno Bevilaqua’s Ghosts is a compelling indie rock track, with hints of Radiohead and The Appleseed Cast. Bits of echo are utilized to stand against the natural / environmental sounds of the guitar lines. A second counterpoint between instrumentation and guitars demarcates the second half of the single. Bevilaqua is building up momentum through this section, gradually shifting over to a more contemplative sound. There are some interesting movements to this track and Juno should be further lauded for placing everything so different in so constrained of a space. Ghosts holds up to multiple listens while providing more each time one plays the song.
