How to Write Profiles to Meet Your Future Wife

Are you tired of playing the field and ready to settle down? If you’re a busy guy, then it can be difficult to meet women. If you’re done with the bar scene and are looking for someone to date and potentially marry, your partner may be online. Use these five tips to try to find her.

Take it Seriously

If you don’t approach online dating seriously, then the chances you will meet someone to date diminishes significantly. Women will easily see from your profile, even your username, that you’re skeptical or are not ready to meet someone online.

If you’re going to put in the effort to make an online profile, tell the truth about yourself, be friendly, and create a good username. While you may think “StudMuffin130” is funny, most women may not share your sense of humor. Be creative, not crass.

Post Great Photos

When posting photos, especially the main one on your profile, make sure that your eyes are visible, and you’re smiling. No one likes seeing a crabby face, especially when they’re looking for someone that might interest them romantically.

Don’t post selfies, don’t wear sunglasses, and, please, wear clothes. The clothes that you wear can say a lot about you, like how casual you are, what your style is, and wearing a shirt leaves something to the imagination.

Be Specific with Wants

If you’re searching online for women, then you probably don’t want to meet just anyone. To attract the woman of your dreams, be specific about who you want to meet. Do you want to meet single black women, Latinas, or Italian women? Put that in your profile.

When searching women’s profiles, carefully read what they have written to gauge their education level, likes, dislikes, and find out if you have anything in common with them.

Also, check the date of their last activity to make sure it isn’t a stale account. Otherwise, you could be contacting someone who will never respond to your likes, winks or messages.

Use Your Communication Skills

When contacting the women for whom you have interest, don’t just say “Hi.” Instead, write a couple of lines about yourself and ask closed-ended questions to start the flow of communication. A close-ended question only provides a yes, no, or one-word answer.

No one expects you to write a thesis but give her some reason to contact you back. Tell her about where you live if you’re in another city or mention something about her pictures and be respectful. Be yourself, then start asking open-ended questions, and wait for a response.

Be Honest

This tip is probably one of the most important ones about writing an online dating profile. Don’t claim to be something that you’re not. It can get you banned from most sites because the women you’re contacting, and the moderators of the site, may assume you’re catfishing.

A good guy doesn’t need to say he drives a BMW or makes hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to attract a good woman to date and eventually marry. Besides, the women will eventually find out the truth, and you’ll be left in the dust.

When you’re looking to join an online dating site, plenty of them exist. Some sites are very specific regarding the ethnicity of the women that you can meet, some are only for hookups, and others are for marriage minded people.

Over 2,500 dating websites are available in the United States, so you should be able to find one to meet your needs.
