What was your favorite part about filming the music video for “KILL THA KING”?
The beach scenes, being able to walk on the sand and feel the sand on my feet, and just having a tranquil moment.
What is next for your music career?
I’m going on tour in 2024 and releasing the Back2Basics EP.
What is your favorite lyric from “KILL THA KING”?
My King was my hips though!!
Who are some of your biggest musical inspirations?
Missy Elliott, Queen Latifah and Maranda Curtis
How has your sound evolved since you first started releasing music?
My sound is beefier with more mainstream elements. I’m not afraid to dabble with trap, drill, or any other kind of sound outside boom bap.
What inspired the story behind “KILL THA KING”?
Wanting to address a different biblical topic and not mimic what everyone else is doing. Also, Covid and the fact that we were all stuck in the house and forced to spend more time on our computers and phones.
What do you want your fans to think when they listen to your music?
That I’m not afraid to address controversial topics, that I’m a real person with real issues.
