Davie Simmons’ new single Traffic Disruptor has one of the most unique sounds we’ve heard this year. With a video that has tremendous cinematic quality, what Simmons does here is truly a multi-media experience. There’s a bit of Arthur Brown, a bit of disco, and some funk scattered within the song. The vocal range of Davie is something to behold; it’s truly something that both ferries the narrative of the single while adding to the groove built by the guitar, bass and drums.
