Red Matter’s Jokers Wild is a single that immediately will draw listeners in with emotive vocals and a taut instrumentation that has guitars, bass, and keys working overtime. There’s a dynamic sound here that ensures that no two seconds of the single sound alike, but the rub is that the band’s total output is as cohesive as all get out. On Jokers Wild, the band is able to create something that builds upon 1970s rock and blues; the single’s production is sharp enough to have the resulting effort pop. The vox are truly a sight to behold; give Jokers Wild a spin and let us know what you think.
We previously covered Red Matter’s Light of the Moon back in March.
