Byland’s Two Circle is an impressive effort, showcasing an evolution of the singer-songwriter style. The song builds upon the work of Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish, putting Byland’s intense vox front and center and matching them perfectly with driven strings. Two Circle’s production is amazing, ensuring the variety of instrumental and vocal elements are able to both shine in an isolated fashion as well as contribute to something decidedly greater than the sum of the song’s constituent elements.
