While He Reminds Me Of You, the latest single from The High Plains Drifters will immediately draw listeners in through an EDM-infused opening, the effort showcvase a refresh and revolutionary take on multiple music genres. While there’s decidedly a nod to late-nineties pop music in the initial section, The High Plains Drifters switch back to a more early-1980s style (eg Boston, STYX) for the remainder of the track. With nods to new wave music in the song’s synthesizer and more 1980s-feel of the percussion, He Reminds Me Of You will have a little bit of something for everyone.
