Velvet Lane Interview

Sitting on the fence is the current EP from Newcastle (Australia)’s Velvet Lane. What are the band’s favorite tracks on the EP? It’s a throw up between My Dear, Harlequin Lover, and Brian Jones, although we obviously have a soft spot for all of the tracks. Len (the bass player) really likes Harlequin Lover, although our collective favourite is most likely My Dear.

Babbling April Intervew

Where does your band name come from? Dave New:  I’ve always been inspired by literature and Graham Greene has always been one of my favorite authors.  His first release back in the early 1900’s was a volume of poetry entitled ‘Babbling April’ which was critically panned and quickly got pushed out of print.
